Double-wing rear doors, opening as far as side wall
The double-wing rear-end doors can be opened all the way to the side wall and lock in place there automatically. Pallet support in the sliding door step
The pallet support in the step of the sliding door stabilises the cargo in the door area, for example, when turning off, and makes particular sense when transporting Europallets or pallet cages. Thanks to this added support, the cargo can stand upright on the step of the sliding door and can thus be better secured. Optional equipment.
Loadable wheel arch
The wheel arches in the load compartment are clad in wood. A horizontal, level surface is thus created. This will enhance the loading capacity and shield the sheet metal from any harm. Optional equipment.
Wood floor
Thanks to its robustness, the wooden floor is particularly suited when great weights have to be transported on a reduced standing area, for example when transporting pallet cages or heavy Euro-pallets. In addition, it is highly resistant to mechanical loads. Optional equipment.
Interior panelling to roof height in load compartment (wood)
The walls of the load compartment are equipped up to roof height with a sturdy, washable protective panelling made of 5-mm thick plywood panels. This panelling lends the load compartment a robust, uniform, appearance and protects the sheet metal skin from damage during loading and unloading. Optional equipment.
Load anchorage rail system
The load anchoring system for the wood floor in the load compartment consists of 2 load anchoring rails bolted to the floor. A wide range of goods can be quickly fastened to the rails with the proper lashing straps and thereby protected effectively against shifting. Optional equipment.
Tie-down rails on sidewall waistrail
The 2 anchoring rails with a hole matrix of 25 mm are fitted at belt rail height along the two side walls, but leaving out the sliding door. Optional equipment.
Instrument panel charging package

Technology
4x4 all-wheel drive with torque on demand
The variable all-wheel drive system distributes drive force to the front and rear axles as required. The system adapts fully automatically to driving conditions within milliseconds and ensures improved traction and enhanced ride comfort. Optional equipment.
9G-TRONIC
The 9G-TRONIC automatic transmission has nine gears which keep the engine speed as low as possible in every driving situation. The large spread of the transmission brings added agility and pulling power in almost all driving situations and improves the pulling away capability. Optional equipment.
Rear axle spring made from glass-fibre-reinforced plastic
The sprinter is equipped with a rear-axle suspension made of glass-fibre-reinforced plastic that is lighter than a steel suspension. It reduces the vehicle weight and increases the payload by up to 12 kg. Optional equipment.
Reinforced rough-road version
The reinforced rough-road specification is recommended when the vehicle is regularly used in construction transport or in forestry and agriculture. It is designed for driving on poor roads with potholes or on unpaved and gravel roads and tracks.

Traffic Sign Assist
Traffic Sign Assist[1]shows the driver-detected speed limits as well as "no entry" or "no overtaking" signs, and their cancellation, in the instrument cluster display and in the media display, and warns if it detects that no-entry signs are being ignored. This mainly helps on journeys with frequently changing speed limits, such as roadworks. Optional equipment.
Active Distance Assist DISTRONIC
Active Distance Assist DISTRONIC[1] can maintain the distance to the vehicle ahead set by the driver and can relieve them, for example, when driving on the motorway or in stop-and-go traffic. The system accelerates the vehicle by itself and brakesit with a maximum of half the vehicle's braking power in order to maintain a safe distance. Optional equipment.
Active Lane Keeping Assist
Inattention and fatigue can result in you inadvertently drifting out of your lane. Active Lane Keeping Assist[1] can warn the driver both acoustically and visually. On vehicles with frontwheel drive or rear-wheel drive, a haptic warning is also issued in the form of vibrations in the steering wheel. Optional equipment.
Active Brake Assist
Active Brake Assist[1] can help to prevent accidents with vehicles ahead and with crossing pedestrians or cyclists, or mitigate their consequences. Optional equipment.
Blind Spot Assist
Blind Spot Assist[1]with Rear Cross Traffic Alert can use visual and acoustic warning signals to help avoid accidents when changing lanes and reversing out of a parking space. If Blind Spot Assist detects a vehicle in the blind spot, it displays a warning with a red triangle in the corresponding exterior mirror. Optional equipment.
ATTENTION ASSIST
ATTENTION ASSIST[1] can warn the driver of fatigue and microsleep in good time. The system can contribute to road safety especially on night-time drives and long journeys. The ATTENTION ASSIST display appears in the instrument cluster between rev counter and speedometer. Optional equipment.
Highbeam Assist
Highbeam Assist[1] automatically switches the main beams on and off according to the traffic situation and thereby relieves the driver of having to manually switch back and forth between the main beam and the dipped beam. The system is controlled by a camera behind the windscreen that permanently registers the traffic situation in front of the vehicle. Optional equipment.
Safety
Adaptive brake lights
The adaptive brake lights with their conspicuous flashing can significantly reduce the reaction time of the drivers of following vehicles and therefore prevent rear-end collisions. The flashing brake lamps are activated at a speed of more than 50 km/h.
Premium protection for tyres (3 years)
The premium protection for your tyres protects you from unexpected costs. It covers damage to all tyres installed ex-works caused, for example, by objects stuck in the tyre, impact damage from kerbs, burst tyres, vandalism or theft. In the case of a warranty, the tyre and installation costs are refunded.
Anti-Theft Protection Package
The Anti-Theft Protection Package provides comprehensive protection for vehicles and cargo. When the system is armed, the alarm is triggered as soon as one of the doors is opened or unlocked from the inside. Optional equipment.
Side marker lights
The yellow LED marker lights at the vehicle sides increase the visibility while driving and when the vehicle is stopped when the headlamps are switched on, thereby contributing to improved road safety. They are required in the EU for vehicles with an overall vehicle length of 6 metres and more. Optional equipment.
Windowbagsfor driver and co-driver
In the event of a side impact, the window airbags integrated in the roof liner can protect the head, face and chest area of the occupants of the outer seats in the cab. They complement the front airbags to provide a high degree of protection and thus reduce both the risk and severity of injuries. Optional equipment.
Driver's airbag
In the event of a collision, the airbag integrated into the steering wheel can protect the driver's head and chest. Thusthe airbag provides a high level of protection which minimises both the risk and severity of potential head injuries.
Co-driver's airbag
In the event of a collision, the front airbag, or the double airbag if a co-driver bench seat is installed, can contribute to protecting the head and chest of the front occupants. It thus provides a high degree of protection; reducing both the risk and severity of head, face and chest injuries. Optional equipment.
Driver and co-driver thorax/pelvis side airbag
In the event of a side impact, the side bags located on the outer side of the seat backrest can protect the chest and pelvic area by deploying in the space between the door and the driver or co-driver. They complement the front airbags to provide a high degree of protection and thus reduce both the risk and severity of injuries. Optional equipment.
Comfort
Parking Package with reversing camera
The Parking Package with reversing camera and integral Parking Assist comprehensively relieves the driver by providing a better overview to the rear when parking and manoeuvring. The reversing camera makes the area directly behind the vehicle visible. It thereby helps to identify any obstacles when parking or manoeuvring. Optional equipment.
Luxury driver and co-driver seat
The luxury driver's seat can be manually adjusted in position, height and inclination by means of levers and adjustment wheels and thus adapted to the individual comfort needs of the driver or co-driver. Thanks to its many adjustment options, even long journeys can be made comfortably. Optional equipment.
Electrically adjustable front seats
The electrically adjustable seat can be adapted to individual comfort needs at the touch of a button and, thanks to its high level of ergonomics, meets the criteria of the Aktion Gesunder Rücken (AGR) e.V. (Campaign for Healthier Backs). The fore/aft position of the seat, the seat height as well as the angle of the backrest and the seat cushion are power-adjustable. Optional equipment.
Lumbar support for driver and codriver seats
The lumbar support in the backrest of the seat allows individual adjustment to the ergonomic comfort needs of the driver or co-driver. Both air cushions are adjusted pneumatically. The height of the cushions and the degree of curvature can be controlled via a 4-way switch button on the outside of the seat. Optional equipment.
Seat heating for driver and co-driver
The seat is equipped with an integrated 3-level seat heating. The electric seat heating enhances the seating comfort and the well-being on cold days or chilly nights. Optional equipment.
KEYLESS START
Start the engine quite simply at the touch of a button: the KEYLESS START drive authorisation system allows the engine to be started simply by pressing the start/stop button and depressing the clutch or brake pedal. All that is required for this is the presence of the electronic key, in which the information for drive authorisation is stored.
Cruise control
The cruise control system allows relaxed and economical driving, especially on long distances. It relieves the driver by maintaining a pre-selected speed without the need to operate the accelerator. Optional equipment.
WET WIPER SYSTEM
The windscreen wiper system offers the driver improved vision even during the wiping process. Washer fluid is sprayed directly ahead of the wiper blades and wiped away immediately. Thanks to the concentrated distribution, the consumption of cleaning fluid is significantly reduced. Optional equipment.
